The globally recognized submarine cable SEA-ME-WE 6 (SE-ME-WE 6) has officially reached Hawke’s Bay in Karachi.
A cable-landing ceremony was held at the Hawke’s Bay shore, attended by the Federal Secretary for the Ministry of IT, Mr. Zarar Ahmed Khan.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of IT, the cable is 21,700 kilometers long, starting from Singapore and extending all the way to France, with Karachi serving as an important landing point along its route.
