Moroccan Visa for Pakistanis

Web Desk — Due to its rich historical background and serene ambiance, Morocco is amongst the top trending countries in terms of travelers. However, Pakistanis, for lack of visa information, find it hard to jet off to the country.

It is important to note that those who want to apply for Morocco’s e-visa should have a valid visa from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, or Australia or a Schengen visa.

One can proceed to the consulate in Karachi in order to apply for a visit visa which is valid for 30 days. The same can also be applied through Moroccan Embassy in Islamabad with the requisite documents.

Documents Required

Note that three sets of documents ( one original and two copies) are required for getting the visa. You will need to arrange the visa documents in the following order for different categories as mentioned below:

Moroccan Tourism Visa

1-You must have a valid biometric passport having at least 6 months validity (previous passports attached).

2- Remember that photocopy of the passport should include the first two pages and any pages with endorsed visas of other countries (especially Europe &US / UK Visas). Photocopy of the passport on a full A-4 size paper and don’t forget that the paper should not be cut down to size.

3-Copy of the national identity card (NIC) (family registration is also needed). Please attach your business profile in case you are a businessman.

4-Cover Letter (to attention to Islamabad’s Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco)

5-Job certificate or appointment letter ( reference letter from your Employer)

6-Three recent photos having white/blue background (size 4*3 cm)

7-Last 6 month’s personal Bank Statement

8-Hotel reservation proof

9-Air Ticket

10-In case of any invitation, it has to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Morocco (with invite ID copy)

11-Birth Registration Certificate (also attach Family Registration Certificate)

12-Covid Vaccination certificate by Nadra (If needed)

13-Latest Tax Returned copy / NTN certificate

14-Visa Fee confirmation before submission by consulate (For Karachi) / Embassy (Islamabad and Punjab)

Additional specific documents will be required according to the category of visa, as follows:

Morocco’s Student Visa

1- Invitation letter from the Moroccan Institute.

2- Registration certificate school/college/University certificate.

3- Birth Registration Certificate.

4- Bank statement of applicant/father along with affidavit (no need for in case of a scholarship given by the student.

Instructions for submission of visa application through the Karachi Consulate

In case you are applying through Karachi, below mentioned documents need to be scanned and forwarded with the visa application form via e-mail.

1- Copy of NIC

2- Passport fast page

3- Visa Form with pic

4- Invitation Letter (If you have) received from Morocco with Attestation of Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (black & white copy)

5- Job certificate with Salary detail (Black & white copy)

6- Covering Letter

7- Air Ticket (black & white copy)

8- Hotel Reservation (Black & white copy)

9- NTN Certificate

10-Birth Certificate with FRC copy

11- Vaccination Certificate from Nadra

Family

1-Invitation letter from the family inviting you to Morocco is needed to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates.

2- Birth Registration Certificate (BRC).

3- If needed, an attested undertaking, mentioning the fees of medical treatment, or repatriation.

4- Marriage certificate with translation: (Arabic or English) if it’s in Urdu.

It should be very clear in your mind that the applicant might be called for an interview in person in Islamabad as the Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa request without mentioning the reason.

In case of visa rejection or acceptance, your original documents would be returned though and it can take 2-3 weeks.

If you are a Pakistani with dual nationality, you can apply for a Moroccan visa from the second country of residence.
