Mumbai: (Web Desk) India’s legendary batsman Virat Kohli has announced the T20 team’s captaincy once the upcoming T20 World Cup is over.

According to media reports despite quitting the captaincy, Virat will continue to play as a batsman in India’s T20 cricket team.

Media reports further state that Virat Kohli will remain captain of the one-day and Test teams.

Rohit Sharma is a strong contender for the T20 team of India.

Virat led the Indian T20 team in 45 international matches winning 29 matches while losing 14.

Virat says he talked to Ravi Shastri and Rohit Sharma before taking the crucial decision.
