Web Desk — All private schools in Lahore have been stopped from holding summer camps and conducting exams this year.

Lahore District Education Authority CEO Pervaiz Akhtar has constituted committees at tehsil and center levels consisting of three district education officers (DEOs), 12 deputy DEOs, and 50 assistant education officers (AEOs).

Akhtar said these teams will inspect schools and submit reports on a daily basis. He directed that the orders of the Punjab School Education Department should be implemented.

He said there would be a ban on conducting any type of exams during the holidays, warning that strict action will be taken against those who violate the orders.

Akhtar said he will make sure that private schools do not hold any kinds of curricular and extra-curricular activities during the summer holidays.

He asked the parents to file a complaint in the CEO’s Education Office complaint cell in case of any violation.
