Imran Khan Threatens to Urge Overseas Pakistanis to Halt Remittances

Imran Khan to stop remittances

Web Desk: Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, has threatened to halt remittances if his two demands are not met.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, revealed that her brother has presented two demands to the government. The first is the formation of a judicial commission comprising three Supreme Court judges, and the second is the release of innocent PTI-affiliated detainees.

According to Aleema Khan, if these two demands are not fulfilled, Imran Khan will soon urge overseas Pakistanis to stop sending remittances. She stated that overseas Pakistanis would gladly respond to Imran Khan’s call and stop sending foreign exchange to Pakistan.

She further added, “The poor work hard to send dollars to Pakistan, and you [the government] take the same dollars out of the country.”
