US Confirms Seventh Soldier Killed in Iran Conflict

The United States Central Command has confirmed the death of a seventh American service member in the ongoing conflict with Iran.

According to the military, the soldier was wounded during an Iranian attack on a US military base in Saudi Arabia on March 1 and later died from the injuries. Officials said the identity of the fallen soldier will remain confidential until the family has been formally notified.

Six US Troops Killed in Kuwait Drone Strike

Earlier, the bodies of six American service members killed in a drone attack in Kuwait were returned to the United States.

President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and Vice President JD Vance were among the officials who received the remains.

The six troops, including a female First Sergeant, were killed during an Iranian attack on the port of Shuaiba in Kuwait.

Soldier Killed Just Days Before Returning Home

Among those killed was Nicole Amor, a Staff Sergeant First Class who was only days away from returning home to her husband and two children.

She died alongside five other US service members when a drone struck a command center in Kuwait.

US Army Pays Tribute to Fallen Soldiers

In a statement, Robert Harter, Chief of the Army Reserve and Commanding General of the United States Army Reserve Command, paid tribute to the fallen troops.

“We honor our fallen heroes, who served fearlessly and selflessly in defense of our nation,” he said. “Their sacrifice, and the sacrifices of their families, will never be forgotten.”
