In an interview with Geo News, Margaret McLeod stated that on January 20, President Trump issued an executive order to review the visa program. According to her, the primary objective of this decision is to keep the U.S. safe from foreign terrorists, and information is being exchanged regarding visa restrictions for various countries.

She further mentioned that President Trump, in his State of the Union address, acknowledged Pakistan’s cooperation, while the Pakistani community in the U.S. remains an essential part of American society.

Margaret McLeod advised visa applicants to provide accurate information, warning that illegal entry into the U.S. could result in severe consequences.

It is important to note that visa restrictions may be imposed on citizens of 41 countries under U.S. policy, but no final decision has been made yet.
