Web Desk — The most popular music streaming app in the world, Spotify, has now come up with a brand new feature designed to get rid of the unwanted songs that keep popping up in your playlists.
On Spotify, ‘the Exclude from your Taste Profile’ is the new option that lets you separate certain playlists which will have no effect on your overall taste profile.
Spotify’s ‘Exclude From Your Taste Profile’ Feature
Spotify’s taste profile is basically an algorithm that gives you recommendations. It keeps track of the type and genre of the songs you frequently listen to and tries to come up with similar songs in accordance with your taste.
Sometimes, there are playlists that you do not want to interrupt your overall taste profile and recommendations. In other words, you won’t like your gym playlist recommendations to disturb your studies and vice versa.
The Exclude From Your Taste Profile comes for help in such situations. It lets you choose the playlists that you do not want to include in your regular music taste. In this way, these playlists would stop impacting your recommendations and help Spotify understand your preferences better.

The steps to set up the feature are quite simple:
