Notorious YouTuber Adil Raja Arrested In London

Monitoring Desk — Notorious YouTuber Adil Farooq Raja has been arrested by the London Police for his alleged involvement in incitement to violence through social media.

Adil Raja, a London-based retired major of the Pakistan Army, was detained by Scotland Yard from Luton. He has been summoned for questioning by the investigators for allegedly spreading violence through his YouTube videos. This is why, Raja recently got his YouTube channel banned for spreading misinformation.

Who is Adil Raja?

Adil Raja is a die-heart supporter of the Pakistan Tehreeek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan. He is also a staunch critic of the Pakistani military establishment. Raja was booked in multiple cases in Pakistan related to inciting Pakistanis to rebel against the state institutions.

With more than 19 years of diverse experience, the war-wounded veteran remained in the limelight for his critical views. Being a keen observer of current affairs and international relations, he appears in the media as a geopolitical and defense analyst.

Recently, senior journalist Shaheen Sehbai, Haider Raza Mehdi, Adil Raja, YouTuber, and anchorperson Wajahat Saeed Khan have been booked in a case lodged under sections related to terrorism and sedition.

Raja was continuously spreading false propaganda against state institutions under nefarious plans to create anarchy in Pakistan.

Cases against Adil Raja

Cases under anti-terrorism provisions are registered in Pakistan against Adil Raja. The Pakistan government had earlier filed various complaints against him in the UK.

Police Released Adil Raja

Lawyer Mehtab Aziz says police released Adil Raja after questioning about his alleged involvement in incitement to violence through Youtube and other platforms for eight hours.
