New Taxi Booking Service Launched in Abu Dhabi

Web Desk — A new taxi booking service is operational in Abu Dhabi, operated by the international ride-hailing smart application Yango.

According to Abu Dhabi Mobility, passengers in the Emirates can now book public and private taxis and licensed private vehicles.

Having registered over 1,500 cabs, the Yango mobile app is available for free and easy download in iOS and Android in Arabic, English, and many other languages.

How to book a taxi in Abu Dhabi?

Users should open the app and specify their destination. When the user’s GPS is enabled, the service pinpoints where the person is and finds the nearby driver who will arrive as early as possible.

The taxi drivers are directed to return the personal belongings passengers forget in the vehicle. This is to relieve people that their luggage is safe even if it is lost in the cab. The drivers are encouraged to return the items to their owners or the nearest police station.
