US Soldiers injured in Iran war, coming home

• Dozens of US Soldiers Wounded in Kuwait Airlifted for Treatment
Dozens of American troops severely injured during Iranian attacks in Kuwait are being transferred for treatment. According to CBS News, 13 wounded soldiers have already arrived in the United States, while 25 others were transported to a US military hospital in Germany aboard a C-17 transport aircraft. Officials say some injuries are so severe that amputations may be required, and many troops are also suffering from psychological trauma. More than 100 US medical personnel have been deployed to Germany to assist with treatment.


• Iran Threatens to Target Major Tech Firms and Banks in the Middle East
Iran has announced it may target major tec-Giants and banks operating in Israel and Gulf countries. In a Telegram post, a news agency released a list of 29 offices, data centers, and research facilities belonging to companies including Google, Microsoft, Oracle Corporation, IBM, Nvidia, and Amazon. The warning has sparked anxiety across the region, with some private banks in Doha and Dubai reportedly closing offices and instructing employees to work from home.

The statement came after a United Nations military advisory urged civilians to stay away from Iranian ports near the Strait of Hormuz due to rising tensions and potential military activity.


• US Military Error Blamed for Deadly Strike on Iranian Girls’ School
A US military investigation reportedly found that a missile strike on a girls’ school in Iran was caused by a major targeting error. According to a report by The New York Times, outdated intelligence data was used to select the target. The strike killed 175 people, including more than 150 schoolgirls. The incident has sparked outrage, and candlelight vigils were held in New York City in solidarity with the victims.


• US Warns Iranian Civilians to Avoid Ports Near Strait of Hormuz
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has advised Iranian civilians to stay away from ports and naval facilities near the Strait of Hormuz where military operations are ongoing. The command warned that civilian ports could become legitimate military targets if used for military purposes. While the US military said it would take precautions to minimize civilian harm, it cautioned that complete safety cannot be guaranteed.
