The United States had no role in the ceasefire between Pakistan and India, according to a recent claim made by Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.

While briefing a parliamentary committee, Vikram Misri stated that the Pakistan-India ceasefire was entirely bilateral and that the U.S. President had no involvement. “Trump did not seek our permission to intervene; he simply wanted to take the stage—and he did,” Misri said.

According to Indian media, the parliamentary committee repeatedly asked how many Indian aircraft were destroyed in the conflict with Pakistan, but Vikram Misri declined to respond, citing national security concerns.

Earlier on Monday, Pakistan rejected Indian media claims regarding the use of Shaheen missiles. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, this media campaign is an attempt by India to cover up the failure of its “Operation Sandoor.”

The spokesperson added that the ISPR press release dated May 12 clearly outlines the weapons used by Pakistan, which included Fatah F-1 and F-2 missiles, advanced drones, and long-range artillery.
