Web Desk — The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has launched a dedicated portal for receiving applications to provide iftar meals at the Grand Mosque during Ramadan.
The service allows individuals to choose one meal site, while charitable organizations can apply for up to 10 sites. Applicants must partner with an authority-approved catering company and comply with specific terms and conditions.
The authority has stressed the importance of offering low-calorie meals for individuals with chronic conditions and diabetes, which should account for 20% of individual meals and 30% of meals provided by charitable organizations.
Applications can be submitted via the authority’s website at https://iam.alharamain.gov.sa/sso by selecting “iftar meal reservation system.”
Ramadan is expected to begin on the evening of either February 28 or March 1, depending on the moon sighting in Saudi Arabia.
