Al Azhar University Cairo Publish Quran In Braille

Quran in Braille

By Web Desk — The Al-Azhar Islamic Center has exhibited a trial edition of the Holy Quran in Braille at the Cairo International Book Fair.

According to El Balad news, the copy was developed at Al-Azhar’s printing center, using modern printing technology.

In order to create a sense of social cooperation between the visually impaired and the rest of society, the Quranic verses are written in both Arabic script and Braille.

Qurans printed in Braille require a larger and thicker paper so that the dots can be seen clearly.
The Book Fair is held under the theme “Egypt’s identity, culture and the question of future.”
