Web Desk — A new ‘docu-drama’ series titled ‘Jurrat ke Nishaan’ is being launched to pay tribute to our unsung heroes of the war against terrorism.

Time and time again, the skies have witnessed terror being terrified by courage, courage that defies all adversaries and fights cold-blooded cruelty fearlessly. Jurrat ke Nishaan represents the courage displayed by Pakistan Armed Forces personnel on various fronts, but rarely seen! This film will allow you to witness a few instances of bravery, passion, and determination; wars won due to sheer power of will, fights fought despite all odds, and sacrifices made without hesitation.

By saluting worthy, courageous souls protecting the soil of this Pak Land, the series acknowledges the selfless efforts and countless sacrifices made every second of every day by five unyielding hearts.

Major Shujat Hussain, Shaheed
A thrilling tale of valor, sacrifice, and chivalry. In it, the Shaheed’s final act of valor is emphasized. We get to see glimpses of Major Shujaat’s personal life, his journey in SSG, and his unwavering commitment to the profession. There are realistic military action sequences in the episode, as well as emotional moments related to soldiers in action.

Hamza Khawaja, a rising star, plays the role of Major Shujaat after his stunning performance in his debut film “Kamli,” the actor happily accepted this challenging role.

In the complete episode, there are moments of breathtaking fight scenes that show us the survival of soldiers in operational areas.

Lt Col Abdul Kaleem, SBt
Maj Abdul Kareem, SBt (Ladha Fort, South Waziristan, 2008)

This is a remarkable true story, where a brave son of soil Maj Abdul Kareem stands firm against the vicious siege of Ladha Fort, South Waziristan in 2008.

At Ladha Fort, the terrorists always outnumber the soldiers and can organize in the surrounding areas. The fearless Maj Kareem and his 36 selfless soldiers, despite lack of arms and ammunition, fought the bloodiest battle with terrorists in the history of the Pakistan Army. This is a story of absolute valor, unrivaled will, and utmost faith that enables Maj Abdul Kareem to embrace his motherland’s honor and pride.

Risaldar Muhammad Khan, Shaheed, TBt
In Bajur Agency in 2008, a tank crew led by Risaldar Muhammad Khan fought bravely in Operation Sherdil during the War On Terror. This show of courage and ultimate commitment by the Pak Army soldiers ended in the shahadat of the entire tank crew, but not before they accomplished their mission.

Sepoy Salman (Shaheed), SBt
It’s a story of sacrifice rooted in bravery beyond comparison. It tells of the comradeship of men clad in uniforms chanting stories of fortitude and patriotism. In the midst of battle-worn fields, Salman, Nadir, and Jawad overcome their fears and continue toward the rising sun. For the sake of their friendship, as well as for their motherland, they are determined to bleed and fight.

Havaldar Muhammad Wafa, Shaheed, SBt
A Pakistani field operator spy, Havaldar Muhammad Wafa, was assigned the mission of monitoring and gathering information about miscreants in district Washuk, Balochistan. Miscreants were heavily armed with hand grenades and rocket-propelled grenades. As a result of his operation undercover, he was able to collect key intelligence that led to an operation against the “Fararis”. He fought alongside Kallat Scouts as part of the leading ops team. By leading the mission from the front, Muhammad Wafa became the defender of his motherland Balochistan. Besides indicating the location of the miscreants’ hideout, he also led the raid.

Even though he was brutally injured during the fight, he still managed to kill three miscreants. Fighting bravely, Muhammad Wafa eventually embraced shahadat. A total of 15 miscreants and the Baluchistan Liberation Front’s commander, Khalid Hameed, were executed as a result of the operation. Muhammad Wafa Shaheed was awarded the Sitara e Basalat posthumously for his act of valor, gallantry & courage.

As events unfold, the film narrates them. Professionalism, bravery, and devotion to the country have been showcased under such stressful and vulnerable circumstances. Also shown in the film is how the crew members assisted one another and worked as a team. Bravery, commitment, and courage are the hallmarks of this story.
