Cardi B Hits Fan With Microphone In Live Performance

Cardi B hits fan with microphone

Web Desk — Cardi B paid back the same coin to a rude fan who threw his drink at her while she was performing live onstage. She hurled her microphone at that person the very next moment he flung his drink at her.

The video of the incident is now-viral on social media with more than 68 million views and counting. In the video, Cardi can be seen retaliating quickly when a person (who couldn’t be seen in the video) standing at the edge of the stage tossed up some liquid, splashing her face and soaking her swimsuit cover-up. This happened when Cardi B was performing her No. 1 hit “Bodak Yellow.”

Later, the security retrieved her microphone and ousted the attacker from the outdoor show at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas.

According to USA TODAY, Cardi B, 30, is the latest artist to have faced an attack from the audience. Last month, a man hit pop singer Bebe Rexha with a phone and faced assault charges in court.

In June, a man in the audience not only slapped dance-pop singer Ava Max at a concert but also scratched the inside of her eye. In a recent incident, someone tried to hit Kelsea Ballerini with a bracelet. Similarly, a person threw a bag of human ashes at Pink and a sex toy at Lil Nas X.

Experts say fans do such acts for viral moments with their favorite artists.
