COVID cases in KSA rise to 5,281 With 2 Deaths

Covid-19 cases increasing in KSA

Web Desk — Corona is spreading once again in Saudi Arabia as on Saturday the country registered 5,281 Covid-19 cases with two deaths.

During the past few weeks, the number of confirmed cases has increased sharply as the more-transmissible omicron variant has spread.

After 2,996 additional patients recovered from the virus, the total number of patients in the Kingdom recovered to 561,542.

In total, 8,905 people have died from the virus in the Kingdom.

More than 53 million doses of the Coronavirus vaccine have been administered to date by the Saudi health ministry.

Saudi Arabia recently updated its COVID-19 regulations, announcing new fines of SR1,000 ($266) for those who violate social distancing rules and SR100,000 ($266,000) for repeat offenders.
