Web Desk — The much-awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight is going to start this month and the event’s newly designed trophy will be unveiled in a grand ceremony.
The unveiling ceremony of the trophy will be held on February 9 at the Shalimar Gardens in Lahore. Captains of teams, as well as PCB Chairman, Najam Sethi, will be in attendance.
According to the details, the trophy presented to the winners of the previous editions, will be replaced by a newly designed trophy with a more appealing design.
PSL’s eighth edition will kick off on February 13 and conclude on March 19. A total of 34 matches will be held at four different venues in 35 days.
Rawalpindi Stadium will host the most matches. The opening match will be played between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars at Multan Cricket Stadium.
According to PCB official, the unveiling ceremony is being planned in a grand manner and some exciting events are being arranged for this purpose.
