Web Desk — Neeraj Chopra, the Indian javelin thrower, who won a gold medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020 expresses best wishes for his Pakistani rival Arshad Nadeem.
Talking to the Indian TV channel Chopra said it would have been much better had Arshad Nadeem won the medal too. It would have elevated Asia’s name in the world.
Neeraj Chopra won the gold medal in the javelin throw at Tokyo Olympics 2020 by throwing his javelin at a distance of 87.58 meters.
Chopra said he had no pressure of competing with Arshad. “It happens in cricket only, let it away from Olympics,” he added.
