Australia Detains Djokovic again

Novak djokovic detained in Australia again

Web Desk — Australian immigration authorities once again take Novak Djokovic in custody before a court hearing that will determine whether the world No.1 Serbian tennis star can play the Australian Open or not?

The Australian government considers the 34-year old Djokovic as a threat to the public and that’s why his visa was cancelled for a second time.

Djokovic lawyers are appealing against what they called an “irrational” judgement, with the hearing set for Sunday.

Hopes are alive and Djokovic is still scheduled to play the Australian Open on Monday in Melbourne.

Djokovic would become the most successful men’s tennis player in the history of the sport with 21 Grand Slam titles if he were to win the tournament for a 10th time.
