Web Desk: The Corps Commanders Conference, chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir, declared that all internal and external elements responsible for spreading unrest in Balochistan have been fully exposed. The conference emphasized that no leniency would be shown to those involved in destabilizing the province.
According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 268th Corps Commanders Conference was held under the leadership of General Asim Munir. The conference began with prayers for the martyrs, and participants paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who had laid down their lives for national peace and stability.
During the meeting, a comprehensive briefing was given on regional security, national security challenges, and Pakistan’s strategy to counter emerging threats. A detailed review of both internal and external security situations was also conducted.
The forum reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorism at all costs. It was stressed that elements attempting to destabilize Pakistan—along with their facilitators and supporters—will be dealt with using the full force of the state.
The conference categorically stated that no one will be allowed to disturb the peace of Balochistan. It was further emphasized that efforts to disrupt the province’s stability for political or personal motives will be decisively thwarted by the unwavering support of the Baloch people.
According to ISPR, the forum recognized that both local and foreign elements responsible for spreading chaos in Balochistan have been completely exposed. It was declared that no pardon will be granted to those involved in such conspiracies.
The conference also stressed the need for the swift and effective implementation of Operation Azm-e-Istahkam under the framework of the National Action Plan, highlighting the importance of a unified national approach against terrorism.
The participants reaffirmed that state institutions will uphold the Constitution and enforce the law with full determination, ensuring that no negligence or leniency will be tolerated in maintaining law and order.
COAS General Asim Munir praised the initiation of District Coordination Committees under the National Action Plan, emphasizing the importance of seamless coordination among all institutions. He reiterated that the Pakistan Army will fully support the government and law enforcement agencies in taking strict legal action against terrorist financing.
He further stated that illegal activities are directly linked to terror financing, and Pakistan will not tolerate the presence of terrorists or their facilitators.
The forum also expressed deep concern over India’s ongoing human rights violations in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and condemned the Indian military’s ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC).
Additionally, the conference reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination and called for continued diplomatic efforts to highlight India’s atrocities on international platforms.
ISPR further stated that the conference expressed full solidarity with the people of Palestine, strongly condemned the grave human rights violations and war crimes in Gaza, and pledged Pakistan’s continued diplomatic, political, and moral support for the Palestinian cause.
After the conference, COAS General Asim Munir instructed field commanders to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness and professional excellence. He also emphasized the need for rigorous training to ensure the military’s combat preparedness remains at its peak.
