Maulana Fazlur Rehman Meets Shahid Afridi in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman visited the residence of former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi in the federal capital, where the two prominent figures held a cordial meeting.

The former all-rounder, popularly known as “Boom Boom,” shared pictures of the meeting on social media platform X, expressing gratitude for the visit.

‘A Pleasant and Honorable Occasion’
In his post, Shahid Afridi wrote:

“Maulana Fazlur Rehman Sahib’s arrival at our home was a moment of joy and honor for us.”

The cricketer-turned-philanthropist further stated that he had the opportunity to engage in a “very pleasant and meaningful conversation” with the JUI-F chief.

“We are extremely grateful to Maulana Sahib for this beautiful meeting,” Afridi added in his post.
