Bahawalpur: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has encouraged students to strive for academic excellence and acquire essential skills to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s national development, according to the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
COAS Inaugurates Key Institutes in Bahawalpur
Speaking to students from various universities in Bahawalpur, the army chief emphasized the pivotal role of youth in shaping Pakistan’s future. His address followed the inauguration of:
- CMH Institute of Medical Sciences
- Innovista Cholistan
- Integrated Combat Simulator Arena
COAS Munir reiterated the Pakistan Army’s support for initiatives that empower young talent and foster education and skill development.
COAS Visits Bahawalpur Cantonment
Upon his arrival, COAS Munir was welcomed by the Bahawalpur Corps commander. During his visit to Bahawalpur Cantonment, he received a briefing on the Bahawalpur Corps’ operational preparedness and training strategies.
