Web Desk — On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia implemented new COVID-19 testing procedures that require travelers to take a rapid antigen test upon arrival.
Furthermore, the General Authority for Civil Aviation updated the rules for those departing the Kingdom.
All citizens and foreign nationals are required to show a negative PCR or rapid antigen test certificate within 48 hours of their departure date from the Kingdom, regardless of vaccine status.
Children under 8 are exempt from the test, but regulations for countries of origin related to COVID-19 testing procedures for children must be taken into consideration.
