Web Desk – Diplomatic passport holders from Indonesia, Qatar, Kuwait, Montenegro, Moldova, Turkiye, Colombia, Peru, and Georgia will be able to enter Ireland without a visa.
According to VisaGuide.World, the decision was taken to improve the political, economic, and cultural ties with these countries.
Visa was also no longer required for those having an official, service, or public affairs passport while accompanying a minister, Ireland Justice Minister Helen McEntee said.
The Irish authorities say reciprocal arrangements apply for diplomats of Ireland traveling to these countries.
Ireland keeps reviewing its visa requirements on regular basis to ensure that effective controls are in place at the borders.
