Artificial Intelligence May Diagnose Dementia In A Day

Diagnosing dementia with artificial intelligence

LONDON: (Web Desk) Diagnosing dementia in a single day will no doubt be a revolution in the field of medicine.

According to a report on BBC, scientists, these days, are testing an artificial-intelligence based system thought to be capable of diagnosing dementia after a single brain scan.

It may also be able to predict whether the condition will remain stable for many years, slowly deteriorate or need immediate treatment?

Currently, diagnosing dementia is a long task as it can take several scans and tests to reach some conclusion.

The researchers involved say earlier diagnoses with their system could greatly improve patient outcomes.
