Britain Reject Nawaz Sharif’s Visa Application

Web Desk — PML-N supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s request for an extension in his visit visa has been rejected by the British authorities.

Nawaz Sharif had put in a request with the UK Home Office to grant him an extension on health ground as his six-month visit visa had expired.

After rejection of visa extension request, Nawaz has two options: to file an appeal before the immigration department and in case it is turned down, he can move British courts.

Nawaz Sharif has already filed an appeal against the decision.

PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurengzeb says the home office decision will remain ineffective unless the appeal filed before the immigration tribunal is decided.

British legal experts say the chances of Nawaz Sharif’s deportation are equal to none.
