Web Desk — Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Director Intelligence Abdul Rehman Rind says the track and trace system will not only help discourage hoarders but will also generate more revenue and eliminate the crisis of goods.
Rind reveals that implementation of the track and trace policy had already started. He was speaking at a seminar organized by Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry.
He said that stickers and bar codes were being pasted on sugar bags in the premises of sugar mills. Rind urged the mill owners to support FBR’s efforts of pasting stickers and bar codes on their products to protect the business.
SITE Association’s sub-committee on FBR chairman Daulat Ram Lohana proposed that in order to remove the fear of the small traders, the track and trace process should be completed within the factories.
