US Fintech Delegation Meets Filed Marshal Syed Asim Munir

A senior delegation from World Liberty Financial, a prominent American financial technology (fintech) company, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, to discuss enhancing financial inclusion and strengthening cross-border digital payment systems.

According to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on the growing interest of international private investment groups in Pakistan’s evolving economic landscape.

The delegation, led by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Zachary Witkoff, explored avenues for investment and technological cooperation. The ISPR stated that the meeting itself reflects increasing global confidence in Pakistan’s fintech sector, with a shared goal of promoting financial inclusion and building a more robust cross-border digital financial infrastructure.

During the discussions, Zachary Witkoff highlighted the vast economic potential within Pakistan and commended the country’s leadership for its efforts to foster future technologies. He emphasized that embracing advanced technology would allow Pakistan to realize its economic capabilities more effectively.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir welcomed the delegation and described the exchange of ideas as a positive development. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to providing a favorable environment for economic stability, investor confidence, and the participation of a responsible private sector in national development.
