Iran’s Supreme Leader, *Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a strong warning aimed at U.S. President *Donald Trump, predicting what he described as a “historic and humiliating fate” similar to past authoritarian rulers.

In a statement shared on *social media, Ayatollah Khamenei accused Trump of being driven by arrogance and unchecked power. Addressing Trump directly, he said that a man “intoxicated by pride” is attempting to make decisions for the entire world. He warned that Trump’s end would resemble that of infamous rulers such as *Pharaoh, Nimrod, and Iran’s former Shah, Reza Shah, all of whom fell despite their dominance at the peak of power.

Khamenei emphasized that history repeatedly shows how even the most powerful leaders eventually face consequences. “People should never forget what happened to rulers who appeared invincible at the height of their authority,” he said.

Rising U.S.–Iran Tensions

The remarks come amid *escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, as well as Israel. Both Washington and Tel Aviv have openly expressed support for ongoing *anti-government protests inside Iran, a move Tehran views as direct foreign interference.

Donald Trump has previously issued strong warnings to Iran, stating that if Iranian protesters are killed, the United States would deliver a “severe response.” These comments have further intensified diplomatic strains between the two countries.

Reports of Possible U.S. Action Against Iran

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced suggesting that the Trump administration is seriously considering targeting non-military sites in Tehran as part of a broader pressure strategy. In a recent statement, Trump said the U.S. is reviewing “very powerful options” against Iran, signaling that military and strategic responses remain on the table.
