Pakistani Actor Humaira Asghar Found Dead in Her Flat

We often hear tragic and mysterious news of untimely deaths involving actors from India’s showbiz industry — but now, a deeply saddening and similar incident has emerged from Pakistan.

A 32-year-old actress and model, Humaira Asghar Ali, was found dead in her apartment located in the Defence area of Karachi. According to the Gizri police station, the body appeared to be at least two weeks old.

How was Humaira’s Body Found?

The discovery was made when a court bailiff arrived at the flat to enforce an eviction order, as the property owner had filed a case against the actress for failing to vacate the premises. Police revealed that Humaira had been living alone in the rented apartment since 2018, and had not paid rent since 2024.

The bailiff initially knocked on the door, and after receiving no response, the court police broke the lock and entered — only to find the actress lying dead inside. The cause of death remains unknown at this stage.

Her body has been moved to Jinnah Hospital for legal and medical procedures. As of now, no relatives have come forward.

Neighbors confirmed that Humaira Asghar Ali was involved in both modeling and acting, and had been living in the apartment on rent. She was also a fitness trainer and frequently appeared on morning shows, sharing health and beauty tips.

Humaira gained popularity through the reality show “Tamasha Ghar” on ARY Digital, and also had a role in the 2015 Pakistani film “Jalaibee.”

Police found Humaira’s mobile phone near her body and a forensic team is trying to retrieve data to progress the investigation.
