Maryam Nawaz Youth Talen Hunt program

Web Desk: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed the formulation of a comprehensive plan for the Punjab Talent Hunt Program—a province-wide initiative aimed at discovering and developing promising athletic talent. The program will prioritize inclusivity, ensuring equal opportunities for male and female athletes to grow and succeed.

In tandem with this, the provincial government has given the go-ahead for a Youth Internship Program, designed to provide young individuals with hands-on experience and essential professional skills. The Chief Minister has called for a detailed roadmap to ensure the program’s effective implementation.

Chairing a high-level meeting, Maryam Nawaz underscored the need for financial independence within the Sports Department and instructed officials to take immediate steps toward self-sufficiency. She also ordered that salaries for Sports Department employees be paid without delay.

“We are determined to create avenues where our youth can discover and fulfill their true potential,” said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “Young athletes—especially women—will be fully supported and encouraged to excel in their respective fields.”

Both the Talent Hunt and Internship Programs are part of a larger strategy to invest in youth and human capital in Punjab, setting a progressive example for other provinces to emulate.
