Web Desk: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has labeled corruption, economic destruction, inflation, and disrespect in Pakistani politics and society as the “gifts” of so-called “Tabdeeli” (change). He stated that the country’s economy and moral values were ruined in the name of change.

Nawaz Sharif expressed these views during a meeting with MPAs from Sahiwal, Khanewal, Multan, Lodhran, Vehari, and Bahawalnagar divisions. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was also present at the meeting.

He recalled that Pakistan had bid farewell to the IMF under his leadership, but unfortunately, the country was derailed from the path of progress. “Politics was polluted with hatred, revenge, and indecency. The economy and values were destroyed, and democracy was stabbed in the back,” he said.

The PML-N leader highlighted that Pakistan has come back from the brink of default. He credited Shehbaz Sharif’s hard work for restoring economic stability, ensuring that consistent policies are now helping the country get back on track.

Nawaz Sharif further stated that corruption, economic collapse, inflation, and misconduct were the outcomes of “Tabdeeli.” He reaffirmed PML-N’s commitment to the country’s progress, promising relief from inflation and a prosperous future. “The promises we made to the people are now becoming a reality, by the grace of Allah,” he added.

On this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said she had taken up the mission of serving the people as a challenge. She thanked the party leadership for entrusting her with this responsibility.
