Likud Party Lawmakers Plan To Oust Netanyahu

no confidence against Netanyahu

Web Desk — The Situation is getting worse for Benjamin Netanyahu as lawmakers from the ruling Likud party plan to oust him from office, TRT World reported citing Israeli media.

According to a report aired by Channel 13 News, the plan includes recruiting 61 lawmakers to pass a vote of no confidence against Netanyahu’s government, and to form a new government without going for fresh elections.

The report further added that the Likud lawmakers fear that they may lose their political space if Netanyahu stays the party helm and ultimately leads to a loss in the next elections.

The Likud party ministers and other lawmakers have a plan to present the no-confidence motion against Netanyahu once the military operation in Gaza comes to an end.
