Web Desk — Congress’s lone Palestinian-American lawmaker, Rashida Tlaib has been censured by the US House of Representatives over her comments on Israel’s invasion of Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera report, the chamber controlled by the Republicans voted in favor of censuring Tlaib. Four of them voted against while three Democrats and one Republican abstained.
Tlaib has repeatedly condemned Israel’s bombardment of Gaza killing over 10,000 Palestinians which also includes more than 4,000 children.
