Pakistan’s Business Visa Within 24 Hours For Foreign Investors

Web Desk — Pakistan makes amendments to its visa policy in order to facilitate foreign investors as the country is going through an economic crisis.

The Kakar-led caretaker government has taken this step to woo investors and businesses from across the globe and now foreign investors will receive Pakistan’s six-month business visa within a day.

The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) had recommended the changes in visa policy as substantial ease in the visa application process would be a major attraction for foreign investors and the business community.

Over 100 countries can benefit from Pakistan’s new business visa policy as Pakistani missions will now be obligated to issue business visas for 5 years within 24 hours.

The new visa policy also offers a short-term one-year visa to be issued within a day time. On the other hand, the Ministry of Interior can issue five-year investor visas within two weeks time.
