Inzamam-ul-Haq Appointed Pakistan Cricket Team’s Chief Selector

Web Desk — Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq will be the new chief selector of Pakistan’s national cricket team. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the news on Twitter.

It was reported last week that the newly-appointed management committee was interested in appointing the legendary cricketer as the chief selector.

Chairman of the PCB Management Committee Zaka Ashraf has made several changes in the affairs of the cricket board since his appointment.

PCB has already appointed the former captain, Misbah-ul-Haq, as the head of the high-profile Technical Committee, which also includes Mohammad Hafeez.

It is important to mention that the former cricketer has earlier served the cricket board as the chief selector of the national team between 2016 and 2019.

Inzamam’s first assignment task will be the team selection for the upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan in Sri Lanka starting on 22 August.
