No Easy Entry To Watch The World Cup Matches

Web Desk — Football World Cup Qatar’s organizers have warned the soccer fans to brace for “congestion” in the first two weeks of the tournament when the peak number of supporters will be pacing the Gulf state Qatar’s Capital, Doha.

In order to keep traffic moving, private cars will be banned from many streets and residents near some stadiums will need permits to get to their homes, organizers of the mega event told reporters at a press conference.

Qatar – the tiney Gulf State of 2.9 million people will be the smallest to hold the FIFA World Cup starting from Nov 20, 2022.

Qatar has spent billions of dollars on a state of the art driverless metro rail network that serves five of the eight stadiums and will also be hae 3,200 extra buses and 3,000 taxis on the road.

According to an estimate more that one million fans are expted to visit during the29-day event. The organizers say that most private cars will be banned from around dentral Doha for the tournament with a $140 fine for offenders.
