Herschelle Gibbs Rejects Indian Pressure; Joins KPL

Web Desk— By throwing the Indian pressure out of the boundary, South African cricketer Herschelle Gibbs reached Pakistan on Saturday to join his Kashmir Premier League (KPL) team – Overseas Warriors.

Gibbs expressed his liking for the KPL tournament saying it was loverly to be in Pakistan.

Senator Faisal Javed of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf welcomed Gibbs to Pakistan and said that passionate Kashmiris were looking forward to watching him play at the KPL in Muzaffarabad.

Participation of Herschelle Gibbs in KPL is of great significance as the player ignored threats by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and agreed to participate in the inaugural season of the KPL being played at the Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium.
