Web Desk — For pilot training, refresher courses, and air safety purposes, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has unveiled a modernized Airbus A320 simulator.
The new Airbus A320 simulator, the first of its kind in the region, is being built for pilot training.
According to PIA CEO Arshad Malik, the installation of simulators generally takes many years, but the PIA team accomplished their work in only five months.
L3Harris Technologies provided the state-of-the-art Reality 7E Evolution Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS), which has now been placed at the PIA Training Centre (PTC) in Karachi.
Pakistan is the first country in the region to have an A320 simulator for pilot training and air safety. It is important to note that Pakistan has 670 Airbus A320 pilots.
