Web Desk — Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman’s “Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030” program is transforming the state from a traditional and conservative Islamic country to a part of the modern world.
The latest example that the Kingdom is modernizing its international image came from Dubai Expo 2020 where Saudi Arabia Pavilion won the best pavilion category award besides two honorary awards, following selection by EXHIBITOR magazine, which gives out awards during each edition.
According to Arab News, Saudi Arabia won the award for the best pavilion in the large suite category, as well as the honorary award for best exterior design and best display.
The pavilion won the Platinum Certificate in LEED by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), and it also holds three Guinness World Records, for the largest interactive light floor, the longest interactive water curtain at 32 meters in length, and the largest interactive digital screen mirror with an area of 1,240 square meters.
EXHIBITOR magazine, which has organized its competition for more than 30 years, is the major evaluator of Expo world fairs, selecting the best-designed exhibitions based on assessments from an international committee of designers, marketers, and event planners.

Visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai have been captivated by the Saudi pavilion since its launch last October. It offers a unique visitor experience that showcases the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s past, present, and future in an impressive journey that blends technology with knowledge and creative arts that reflect the Kingdom’s growth and prosperity.
The Saudi Pavilion will not appear the same in the daytime as it will at night. Search for your reflection in a magnificent mirror by day and immerse yourself in a majestic spectacle by night.
Saudi Pavilion Expo 2020 cost has not been made public but as experts suggest it must be worth millions of dollars.
More than four million visitors have visited the site since its launch.
