Akshay Kumar Starrer Prithviraj Release Date Announced

Web Desk — Among other films Prithviraj release to big screens was delayed several times due to coronavirus. The Akshya Kumar starrer, if all was well, would have been released on January21, 2022. However the producers – Yash Raj Films (YRF), fearing lockdowns and restrictions, decided to postpone it for indefinite period.

The release dates of several films have been announced in the last 3-4 weeks. The fans wondered as to why the YRF were not giving the release date of Prithviraj when the new dates of all January films were out.

Finally, ending the the suspense, the YRF have announced that Prithviraj would be out on June 10, 2022.

Also there were reports that the name of the film will be changed due to objection from the Sri Rajput Karni Sena. The character posters, however, make it clear the film is still called Prithviraj.

Prithviraj has been directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi.
