Pakistan Establishes first Electronics Technology Park

Web Desk — Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Shibli Faraz, will be inaugurating Pakistan’s first Electronics Technology Park on Tuesday.

The facility aimed at realizing ideas into commercial projects has been established in the National Institute of Electronics (NIE).

It will provide facilities and equipment to the local startups for testing their project. Initially, 20 startups will be registered without any fee.

To start with, NIE will provide funds for the National Electronics Technology Park. However various companies would be invited to extend support for the project.

Officials said it would provide the testing facility and technical staff to the talented youngsters of the country. They added that NIE would provide training to youngsters on its equipment.
