PSL 10 Draft Completed: Top Players Join Teams

Web Desk: The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 players’ draft has been completed, with six franchises selecting top-tier international players for their teams.

The PSL 10 players’ drafting ceremony was held at the historic Hazuri Bagh in Lahore. Franchise owners and team management participated in forming their squads through the draft process.

Top cricket stars from around the world, including Australia’s David Warner and Sean Abbott, as well as New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, and Finn Allen, have joined various teams.

However, some big cricketing names could not secure a spot in any franchise for PSL 10.

Players Who Were Not Picked:
Sarfaraz Ahmed, Tim Southee, Ihsanullah, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Ashton Agar, Chris Lynn, Cooper Connolly, Daniel Sams, Jason Behrendorff, Mark Steketee, Moises Henriques, Usman Khawaja, Will Sutherland, Mustafizur Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, Joe Clarke, Laurie Evans, Tymal Mills, Jimmy Neesham, Imran Tahir, Reeza Hendricks, Tabraiz Shamsi, Charith Asalanka, and Evin Lewis.

Sarfaraz Ahmed Appointed Quetta Gladiators’ Coach
Sarfaraz Ahmed, who was part of the players’ draft for the first time since the inaugural PSL edition in 2016, was not picked by any team.

However, Quetta Gladiators’ owner Nadeem Omar has entrusted the former captain with a significant role, appointing him as the team’s coach.
