Sinovac Ready To Improve Pakistan’s Health Sector

Web Desk — China’s health giant Sinovac has expressed interest in making heavy investments in Pakistan’s health sector for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases.

Sinovac, which most Pakistanis know for its coronavirus vaccine, is ready to start health-related projects in Pakistan as the company’s representatives met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to give a briefing on their plans.

During the meeting, it was decided that the Ministry of National Health Services (NHS) will form a task force for the projects proposed by Sinovac- the company that has already supplied millions of doses of ‘coronavac-sinovac’ and played a major role in boosting the immunity level of the majority of Pakistanis against Covid-19.

Chinese ‘Sinovac’ was perhaps the most easily available corona-vaccine on a national level in Pakistan as the Chinese government was generous enough to help Pakistan fight the pandemic. However, the Sinovac corona vaccine does have side effects. The most common are:

1. Pain at the injection site
   2. Headache
   3. Tiredness
   4. Muscle aches
   Other, less common side effects are also possible.
