Nawaz Sharif arrives in London for media reasons

London – Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has reiterated his party’s pivotal role in strengthening Pakistan’s defense and economy, claiming that PML-N was the force behind the country’s emergence as a nuclear power.

Speaking to media upon his arrival in London for a medical check-up, Nawaz Sharif stated,
“It was the PML-N that made Pakistan a nuclear state. We also gave the country missile technology and contributed to progress across every sector.”

He sharply criticized the previous government, saying it left Pakistan in a troubled state, but asserted that the PML-N has been gradually improving the situation.

“We are stabilizing the economy. The country is heading in the right direction now,” he added.

“People Vote for Performance, Not Just Politics”

Highlighting his past tenure, Nawaz Sharif noted,
“During our government, the rupee remained stable for four consecutive years, and GDP growth reached nearly 7 percent.”
He also credited his party for strategic defense collaborations with China, particularly the development of the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.

He stressed that governance must include delivery, not just political slogans:
“People vote for performance. Politics should be accompanied by real work.”
