Internet Facility is Now Available in PIA Flights

As now a day’s internet facility has become a basic need in every business and because of this, every transport company in Pakistan is facilitating their passengers with Internet facility.

Initially, we have seen that top bus services in Pakistan initiated this service but now recently the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has decided to offer internet facility to its passenger while journey.

According to the details, the National Airline company has started installation of Wi-Fi facilities and soon all passengers will have internet access.

According to the details, the decision is made by Khawaja Saad Rafique, Minister of Federal Aviation, special instruction, and Khawaja Saad Rafique has decided that initially, the internet service will be available on 10 PIA’s Boeing 777s which are used for longer routes and after this facility will be installed 14 AIRBUS A320.

In the first phase, a total of 30 hours of content would be available for the passengers including dramas, comedy, kids movies, tilawat, documentaries, safety videos, Urdu feature films, music, games, and much more.

In the second phase, along with the internet facility, the passengers will have 50 hours of content including western movies, interactive games for kids, and live maps.

This decision is made just after the announcement done by the United States in July which indicates that the US will allow direct flights from Pakistan by Pakistan International Airlines and the announcement is made by Salman Sufi the head of the PM’s strategic reforms unit at a press conference in the US Capital.

Salman Sufi claimed that soon, airport representatives from the FAA will visit Pakistan to examine the PIA’s aircraft that will be used for US flights.

As, soon as PIA will be able to make a direct flight to the US and then for such a long route journey Internet Facility will be very effective for the passengers because the average direct flight time from Pakistan to the United States of America takes 5 hours and 30 minutes and during flight, if passengers have internet access, they can spend much flight time in surfing social websites, entertainment, etc.
