Hindu Girl Killed For Refusing To Marry Influential Landlord

Web Desk — “Marry me or die.” This is what we can perceive should have happened with a Hindu girl Pooja Kumari, 18, who refused to marry a local influential landlord in near Ghotki, Sindh.

As the media has reported, Wahid Bux Lashari was forcing Pooja to convert to Islam and marry him but on Pooja’s refusal, the accused killed her what can be called a cold-blooded murder.

On the day of Pooja’s murder, Lashari broke into Pooja’s house in Ghotki city of Sukkur district and attempt to abduct her. After Pooja’s resistance, Lashari got enraged and fired gunshots leaving the girl dead on the spot.

Police later arrested the murderer who confessed in custody. Pooja Kumari’s relatives staged protests against the murder demanding justice to be done.

Social media users have also joined the protest as “#JusticeForPoojaKumar” has become a trend on Twitter.
