Hassan Niazi Case Sent To Military Court

Web Desk — Former prime minister Imran Khan’s nephew Hassaan Khan Niazi’s case was transferred to the military court on Thursday.

According to media reports, Hassaan will be tried in a military court instead of a civil court and police have shifted Hassaan from Quetta to Rawalpindi. He will be later transferred to Lahore.

Hassan was wanted in connection with the May 9 incidents and police arrested him last week from Abbottabad.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday told the authorities to produce on August 18. LHC judge Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed heard the petition of Hassaan Niazi’s father Hafeezullah Niazi.

Hafeezullah Niazi had filed a writ petition in the Lahore High Court for his son’s recovery.
