Mission Impossible 7, 8 Release Delayed

Web Desk — According to Paramount Pictures and Skydance, the seventh and eighth films in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise will be delayed until 2023 and 2024 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Mission: Impossible 7” was scheduled to premiere in movie theaters in September 2022, followed by “Mission: Impossible 8” in July 2023.

July 14, 2023, will be the release date for the seventh installment, and June 28, 2024, for the eighth installment.

After thoughtful consideration, Paramount Pictures and Skydance have decided to delay the release of Mission: Impossible 7 and 8 due to delays resulting from the ongoing pandemic, the companies said in a statement.
